Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is a must-visit for any mountain biking enthusiast! The park offers a great range of trails for all skill levels, from easy, flowy paths perfect for beginners to challenging, technical runs that will push even the most experienced riders. The lift access is a huge advantage, letting you focus on enjoying the downhill rides without the need to climb back up. What really stands out is how well maintained the park is. The trails are in great condition, and the signage is clear, making it easy to find the right trail for your level. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with advice or assistance, whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out. The views of the Sierra Mountains are breathtaking, adding to the overall experience of riding

No distinction between flow or tech trails. I ride both, but want to know where to find what I want to ride. Most places do this. Super loose all over. Too many uphills and 2 way trails. Maybe more lifts are usually open, but only the gondola makes it tough to get to some parts. Oh, not even the gondola today, closed at 10 due to wind. Upper mountain was closed my 3 days here last winter also. Not happy with this place. Making my way to all lift served bike parks in the country, definitely will not recommend this place for winter or summer. Side note- longest winter lift line of my life was here, and I ski A LOT. The gondola needs a serious upgrade as well, my big bike didn't allow the door to close

Best downhill mountain biking. From easy to double diamond to expert. I go every year

5 Star for friendly main staff at rentals and ticket office. 2 star for upkeep and maintenance. On the day of my reservation, immediately after arrival the gondola was shut down due to high winds. Understandable. I had my ticket swapped to the next day. The next day winds were low, however after 1 run from the top, it got shutdown again due to maintenance about 1 hour after park open. Trails coming from the top is not well maintained and dangerous, very loose terrain at extremely high elevations with drop on your death edges. Mammoth is supposed to be a high caliber park. For a lot of people it’s a long trek to the resort from different parts of the state and country. Left a bittersweet taste in my mouth. The ticket prices are fair but the gamble isn’t worth it. With prices almost double i

My absolute favorite mountain bike park in California and maybe ever. The dirt/pumice (commonly referred to as kitty litter due to its similarity in appearance) is definitely something you have to get used to, but it’s super fun and challenging. There’s trails for literally everybody here, and it’s so much bigger compared to a place like Snow Summit. There is some traversing here and there, but my only real complaint is something nobody has control over- the weather! Not that it’s overly hot or overly cold when you’re there… it’s simply just how much snow the mountain tends to get! It makes this bike park not operate for that long compared to others, and trails are slow to open, but when they are- they’re among my favorite trails to ride.
