Tru By Hilton Savannah Midtown

I loved the modern feel. The lobby is huge with excellent private spaces. The pool table and other games were a bonus. Breakfast was wonderful and not same old same old. Waffles, unbearable yogurt, fruit, excellent coffee with large creamer are worth the stay, but wait. The rooms are excellent for hanging items and the designer did an excellent job at use of space. Easy to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Last but not least the front desk went over and ubove to help. The only negative would be that prices on line are way cheaper, worth giving up points. I booked both ways because of needing 2 rooms and being computer stupid. $30. Plus difference per night. I'd still stay again, but watch that closer and especially when staying several nights.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I stayed at Tru by Hilton Savannah Midtown and shortly after checking in, I discovered a live cockroach in the bathtub — roughly the size of my thumb. This was not a small insect; it was large and clearly visible. A situation like this is a serious sanitation issue, not a minor inconvenience. I immediately reported it to the front desk and provided photo evidence. Initially, I was told there was little they could do because the reservation was made through a third-party site. A room change was not proactively offered. I ultimately had to contact the booking platform myself before any action was taken. When a room change was finally arranged, it was to a room directly next door — and noticeably smaller than the room I

We came down from SC to get a car....this hotel was just down the road from the dealership. Wish it hadn't been raining but that's ok. Awesome 1 night stay! Quiet room. Beautiful room. Small but efficient. Just enough. Great breakfast. Easy check in check out. Wish I could stay one more night. I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in a looooong time! Huge TV to watch from the bed. Just a great stay! If we have to come back we will definitely stay here. Free parking!!!|Thank you Hilton Tru Savannah!!!!

Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful Negative: Breakfast choices very limited. Room had a weird smell. Strange people hanging out in parking lot at 1am when we arrived.

While my stay was nice and the room was decent, I am very upset how someone was able to unhook my tire straps on my vehicle from its tow in the parking lot while I slept. The property is not responsible for the parking lot, but when I shared what happened with the front desk man, it seemed he could care less. He then shared the hotel does not have any cameras in the parking lot. Go figure! Thank goodness I checked before pulling off or else my car may be on the interstate!
