Municipal Grand

We had the best girls trip staying at Municipal Grand. I stayed in the large king suite, and it ended up being the perfect gathering spot for our group — spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and get ready together without feeling crowded. The hotel itself is stunning. We loved the thoughtful nods to its historic bank roots paired with beautifully curated design details throughout. The craft cocktail welcome drinks were such a fun, elevated touch and really set the tone for the weekend. We enjoyed drinks at Hot Eye and drinks and apps at Municipal Bar — both were fantastic. Municipal Grand was absolutely stunning! The attention to detail of finishes, furniture, and artwork are like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, especially traveling with a 5 month old. The location is perfect for strolling Savannah’s historic squares, popping in shops and restaurants, and walking down to the river. The room was super comfortable and cozy with tons of storage and a gorgeous shower. We enjoyed multiple delicious meals and drinks in the lobby and loved the relaxing rooftop pool with great views of downtown. The Hot Eye basement bar was a funky surprise for the perfect late night cocktail. I can’t rave about this hotel enough, highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Beautiful boutique hotel with such amazing character and charm. It’s the perfect balance of old and new. The rooms were spacious and eloquently designed. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful, and the valet staff was prompt and friendly. The hotel bar serves up amazing cocktails, and the speakeasy is a great late night hangout. Overall, one of my new favorite spots in Savannah.

We were pleasantly surprised by the fine appointments in your hotel. We loved staying there. We wished we had tried dinner at your restaurant. We did have breakfast and lunch though. The salad was perfection. We loved the hand held shower. We loved the wood and brass decor. Our bedroom was small but the bathroom was roomy. Room 304 We loved being close to Reynolds Square. Thank you for a lovely two nights.

This hotel has so much to offer. The rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable, and thoughtfully planned. The art in the hotel and furnishings provide a beautiful aesthetic. The food is delicious and the cocktails are exceptional. The staff was very helpful and friendly, giving the hotel a great vibe. The location is close to the river front and several museums. The rooftop deck/pool is a great place to get some sun, have a cocktail, and relax. It provided a great experience for my husband and me.
