Tru by Hilton Meridian

When we walked in the room I immediately smelled cleaning products. The room was clean as was the bathroom. Check-in was good and breakfast was good. My only complaint are the beds. The sheets were paper thin and needed replacing. The beds were also uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in my back. The pillows also needed trashing. One thing I didn't notice until the next day we left was the old blood stain on the side of the mattress cover. I was grossed out. That is a OSHA health violation as bodily fluid of any kind should not be left on anything that any guest comes in contact with. I have stayed in a Tru By Hilton on several other occasions in different locations and was very happy. I definitely won't stay here again. Do better Hilton.

warning do not stay here I travel a lot, and this is the most disgusting hotel I’ve seen. We get in the room and it was the dirtiest room I have ever seen no pad straight mattress to a thin sheet. if I could I would post the pictures I took tons of pictures of this place it’s disgusting. The mattress had hairs , stains, Food and particles all on that mattress, and the sheet was thin. The floors were disgusting. The shower the floor was black there was dirt in it. The night stands was dirty. . The TV didn’t work, heater didn’t work. hope this, I’m hoping this comment will help them train their employees to do. Better job on cleaning.

The room is in a completely unacceptable, unsanitary, and disgusting condition. There are countless live and dead ladybugs throughout the room ,the ceiling is crawling with bugs, the bathroom is filled with them, and the room itself is visibly dirty. I personally had to remove insects from my pillow. THE LADYBUGS KEPT DROPPING FROM THE CEILING WHEN I WAS SLEEPING! I really dont care if the ladybug situation is seasonal or normal here, nobody wants to sleep with bugs all around the room The bed and linens are extremely dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. The toilet paper in the bathroom was not sealed and was obviously left from a previous guest, which is a serious hygiene violation. There are unidentified slimy stains in the bathroom, making it clear that the room was not properly cle

I should have checked the recent reviews before booking. I don't know how this hotel is rated #1 in Meridian. In a word, it sucks.||The room is totally bare-bones without a desk. The furnishings are in tatters. The bedding is threadbare. The room was dirty with hair left in the shower. The TV is huge, 50 or 60 inches, but did not get any channels. The front desk clerk spoke some version of ebonics that was barely intelligible.||This has been one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Even though I paid for the second night in advance, I'm eating the fee and finding somewhere else to stay.

Positive: The staff we encountered were very friendly. The rooms and decor were great.The bath products were good and smelled nice. Breakfast area was nice and clean. We will definitely stay again. Negative: The shower door didn't close all the way.
