La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Meridian

It was after 5pm when I arrived. Everyone was helpful and nice! The hotel.com I booked with didn’t have it in the system so I had to rebook with hotel and the manager had me contact them but it took a while to get ahold of them so she accommodated me with the same room for same price I laid at hotel.com. The next day staff was great and accommodating as well. I was upset at the hotel site and ready to leave but the evening manager customer service and willingness to help me made stay. Kuddos to management. Also a physical tv guide would be great since the tv guide channnel doesn’t work. Think about it! Especially for the older crowds. I bet your ratings will go up 🤗

I honestly would give a zero if it were an option. We reserved through Booking.com, which they are always great. So after check in, we went to the elevators to go to the 3rd floor, but the elevators were not working. The desk clerk said he did not know, which was fine. We asked if he would carry our luggage upstairs since myself and my companion are disabled. He said that he could not leave the desk. I then asked if he would move us to the first floor. He said he couldn’t do that since we went through Booking.com and we paid for that certain room. 35 minutes later we started a refund through Booking.com. We were able to get a refund so we went to Drury Inn, which we should have done to begin with. They have a 5:30 kickback with food and drinks included and also a very nice breakf

Positive: The bed was comfortable Negative: The thermostat needs to be able to let the fan run constantly. This allows better sleep to drown out the other occupant noises that keep me up!

Nice facility. Very good breakfast buffet. Nice dining area. Decent coffee, even. Room was excellent, in great shape with nice amenities. Business center was the best I’ve seen for roadside motels. Laundry facilities for guests. There were attentions to detail that showed excellent management oversight. We were just traveling through on a road trip, but if I were doing business in Meridian for a few days or a week, I would definitely stay here. Very good value for the price.

The door didn’t close by itself and there were bugs!! In the bed. On the walls. On the lamp. And when I notified the front desk, she didn’t seem too concerned! I showed her pictures as well. She asked to look at my phone and after 5-10 minutes went by she came back to tell me nothing they can do, it happens! I expected more from a high end hotel
