Room was fine, though you have to wash your own glasses and dishes before you can use them. Housekeeping woke us up more than three hours before checkout after we had a long day of travel and a late arrival. If you stay here, be prepared to do your own housekeeping and make it clear that you’d really like eight hours of sleep. Also, bring your own pillows. The ones at the hotel are of the pancake variety.
Nice brand new hotel; very functional room. Well designed lounge and breakfast area; including foosball table and table hockey games. The girls at reception were very helpful with where to eat and what to do. Highly recommend Fat Olives restaurant. There are a couple of negatives that the Tru Hilton needs to improve on: 1) it's not sanitary the way they have the liquid soap set up next to the sink and in the shower. they need to offer guests bars of soap as an option and an alternative. 2) Most of the items at the breakfast buffet were cold or not hot enough. the selection was lacking as a buffet should always have pastries, blueberry muffins or apple muffins, etc. There should be individual jelly packets for the toast and bagels which is more appealing and sanitary than having the jelly
Great location to NAU campus. The staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time we stayed. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but has many choices and we LOVE that they offer chicken or turkey sausage as an alternative to pork. The coffee was always hot all day and the lounge area was fun. Games for kids, a fire pit outside to enjoy and very clean. We will be back.
Staff was extremely Rude! I checked in late at almost 3am and was told a late checkout would be no big deal especially due to my check in time. Right at 11am I was harrassed and told to immediately leave by Kayla at the front desk. Additionally I'm a Hilton Honors Gold member, it was then reiterated to me by the GM Bryan that staus is meaningless at his properties and that it's standard protocol for his employees to treat guests this way. I strongly suggest you choose a different property to stay at in Flagstaff, one that treats it's guests like people.
New hotel. Rooms are small, but it had everything you need. Very large tv! Wide variety of breakfast items, well stocked & clean area. Great quality & price. Only complaint I have is that they charge for parking…in their own parking lot! Why?? Please reconsider this extra charge!
