Grand Canyon Oasis High Desert Camp

We were traveling when we found GCO. We initially booked for a week and quickly felt comfortable with Adam and Shelley. They are great people. We ended up staying at GCO for almost 4 months. They were kind enough to let us charge our electric vehicles on property. We did pay a little extra to account for the electricity, but to even be willing to let us charge was awesome. They have even added a NEMA 14-50 plug for other EV owners to be able to charge. We wish Adam and Shelley well and value them as friends today. If you are in the Flagstaff area and want a great base of operations this is your place.

What a perfect location! It's just 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, right next to the national monuments, less than an hour to the Grand Canyon, and short distances to many other must see places like Antelope Canyon, Meteor Crater and more! We have loved the peaceful views of mountains and desert in opposite directions, and the amazing night sky. The owners are very friendly and welcoming! Booking was so easy. They've just added the cutest tiny homes for rent, I'd love to stay in one of those next time!

Wonderful experience here, spent the month of May. Friendly hosts, beautiful scenery, and a variety of recreational opportunities within an easy drive. Plenty to do in Flagstaff 30 minutes south as well. I imagine this Oasis will keep getting even better, as the owners continue to develop the property. The miles of adjacent NF roads (gravel) along the boundary were perfect for keeping our large dog happily exercised, too!

Wow, Cool little spot on 89 outside of flagg if ypur heading to grand canyon or Page. We were in a bind with our EV and were not going to make Flagstaff. Stopped in and charged in one of their RV spots on 50 amps. The had a nice little club house, TV, Fire place several game tables, refreshments even a workout area with gym equipment. Pasted the time away. Fun stop, will.stop.there again.

This place is incredible. The host is so accommodating. The sites are plenty big. What a treat it was for us to have full hook ups after a week of dry camp in Moab. You are in a perfect spot to visit the Grand Canyon, Wapatki National Monument, Sunset Crater Volcano, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lava Cave Tubes and Walnut Canyon!!! Don’t forget the Cameron Trading Post to grab some native jewelry and goodies! We did so many things in our time here. Our kids enjoyed the basketball court and the toys they provided and the night skies were beautiful to watch as the were the sunrises! You won’t go wrong staying here. I love the heart behind the owners and we look forward to visiting again in the future!
