Tru by Hilton Charleston Airport

Great for quick overnight if traveling. Very clean. Beautiful and inviting lobby area. Only complaint is that at the 24/7 coffee bar was not hot. Lukewarm. Room was minimal as no microwave or coffee pot. But perfect if those things aren’t important to you. Bed was comfy. Staff were pleasant and helpful answering questions. Would definitely stay there again before traveling. Great price. Close to airport.

For starters a microwave would be nice in the room. Room cleaning everyday would be nice. They told me to put a animal sign on door. I didn't know they wouldn't enter the room with it on. My dog n I were gone from 7am til 730pm. Came back to no clean or clean towels. Thought they would knock n check the room out to see if dog was in her kennel or not there so they could clean my room, exchange new towels . So next day I removed sign. Took my dog with me again, she always goes with me. Til 5pm. Still no new towels. Confronted maid service, told them I would be out of my room with my dog til 8 pm. Would like my room cleaned, they said they would have to check with management. I paid pretty good money for my room. Expected some service in exchange. Plus animal fee on top of the expensive ro

I am currently staying at Tru by Hilton, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The rooms are not cleaned regularly, the staff shows little concern for guest service, and even basic amenities like two bottles of water per day are not provided. They also charge unreasonably high prices for bottled water. For the same budget, I would strongly recommend Marriott, where the service and overall experience are far superior

We stayed here for a work/vacation trip with the family with a great location . The service was good as well but the hotel just missed the mark in a few areas. The beds were comfortable and clean but the restroom needed some work. There was dirty streaking on the shower walls, some mold around the edge of the shower, blackout shade not working, broken lamp, and we had to take care of a cockroach. For breakfast, some machines/dispensers were not functioning.
