Trimmer House Bed & Breakfast

This is a very welcoming bed & breakfast located on a quiet, tree-lined street in Penn Yan. Vic & Mary treated us like we were family and the breakfast was to die for. I love homecooked meals, and these two love cooking, for sure. My room was so comfortable, but they all looked inviting. Lots of history here, with period pieces throughout. I have already booked another stay with friends, and can't wait to make my way back there. I want to sit on their porch swing and walk through the garden. It was mid-winter and looking pretty bleak outside when we were there. I will add more photos when the weather is better and the sun is out.

All I can say is WOW! We stayed in this lovely 1891 home for 3 nights recently and had an amazing time. Our hosts Mary and Vic were terrific and had many suggestions to share about activities in the area, Mary even called the kayak rental to make sure they were open and suggested the Finger Lakes Rail Riders, which was a lot of fun!|Our breakfasts were true gourmet quality (Asian pears with rosemary syrup anyone?) Chef Susie with Mary's assist was amazing and we had several fun food conversations!

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary visiting the Finger Lakes area. Our weekend stay at the Trimmer House B&B in Penn Yan made it extra special! We stayed in their beautiful and very private Keuka Room on the first floor. The room is immaculate and spacious with nice natural lighting and a very comfortable queen bed. Susan’s breakfasts are homemade, generous, very delicious and appetizing! Eggs Benedict was one of our favorites! The owners, Mary and Vic, are great hosts…accommodating, very friendly and engaging. We enjoyed everything about the Trimmer House B&B and we will definitely return on our next visit to the Finger Lakes!

This Bed & Breakfast provided a very comfortable bed and exquisite breakfasts that my wife and I enjoyed. Well worth the cost just for that. Added in were very interesting conversations Mary, Vic and Susan were all very intelligent, kind, and considerate. Vic also has a very nice voice and is pretty good on the guitar. (He randomly decides to play/sing a song on occasion) As a note, part of the charm is the old Victorian home with all the wood/plaster details but guests need to remember older homes also need a bit more forgiveness compared to modern buildings. Trimmer House Bed & Breakfast will be on my list of options going forward!!

We had a quick weekend get away and chose to stay at the Trimmer house. Mary & Vic are wonderful people. We had such a nice time talking with them at breakfast. The house is adorable and very peaceful and comfortable. It is on Main Street but it was quiet and so much to do. Our first visit to the area and we were delighted with our stay.
