Trident Inn & Suites, New Orleans

The Rooms were average on appearance. But we were Switched to Three Different Rooms(118, 119 & 325) due to No Hot Water.. I went to the Service Desk Several Times about the Hot Water in Room 118. Before being Moved to Room 119. To have the Same Issue. The Front Desk Lady was Very Short And Rude with Me. I was NEVER Out of Line With This Young Woman. This was on a Friday Morning. And there Was No Manager on Site to Address Our Concern. Also. Our Friend that Traveled with Us was in Room 125 and Her Room had Bugs in It. She said they Looked Like Fleas. We have Pics that we Won't Upload on Here. But We All Know Flea Looking Bugs are Bed Bugs. So Be Careful and Don't Stay At This Place When Coming to New Orleans.

DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT TRY TO STAY HERE! Read the reviews and still tried and absolutely no. Dont even blink twice run away from this place! Walked in the room turned around , walked out and checked right out. Absolutely disgusting, the room smelled like human urine and I couldn’t stop gagging. Bathroom wasn’t clean, Burn holes on bedding and floors and dirt build up all over the place. I honestly feel bad for the workers as they’re sweet but the place is awful. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

The fitness suite has nothing that works. All of the equipment was old and broken so unusable, literally not a single piece of equipment works in the room. The maid service was very minimal, they didn’t even take out/clean the bins even though we were there for multiple days. It was a good price and mostly clean (minus the massive dead cockroach that we found that the maid wouldn’t clean).

Positive: nothing Negative: no face towels, housekeeping service only every 2 days, iron holder off the wall, bathroom door didn't close. Front Desk girl was nonchalant and the staff spoke no english. TV not properly set up, I had to go get staff to fix. No phone, old furniture.

The ladies at the front desk very friendly super accommodating. We went for a batchlorette weekend and the site i booked it through said rooms would be conjoined and this hotel doesnt have any. I booked it months in advance with this option. These Ladies made sure our rooms were right next to each other even tho they were busy. Absolutely believe that this hotel needs a serious remodel. The cleanliness was decent but it was ruined by how run down this hotel looked once in it. The elevators are squeaky and some of the buttons don't work. This is not meant to be a mean or a bad review. I feel the tools are there for a great hotel and you have the staff to do it as well.
