Triangle RV Park - North

Spaces are nice size with plenty parking amongst lots of tall trees. Deer walk through the park like regular neighbors ;) People are friendly, yet mostly keep to themselves. No wifi and starlink doesn't work, so we had to get wifi through spectrum. There are 3 washers and dryers, that are not always all working. We stayed here several months and besides an issue with the lawn guy once, we had no other issues and enjoyed our time here. It is a pretty park in a safe neighborhood that is reasonably priced. Would for sure stay again. Update: We did stay again! It was exactly the same except no "lawn guy" issues. It's been almost 6 months this time and everything's been wonderful. The trees have some kind of sticky residue that after just a couple days you can see in rv and truck so you have to wash them more often. That isn’t why I put 3 stars though, my biggest issue was that nobody ever answered any calls or emails. I am not talking about a day or two. It’s been almost the month and not one response. Lucky I got everything sorted out( the water valve was buried under dirt so it took me a couple minutes to figure that out. Had to pull out my mini shovel. I will say area is pretty calma and quiet and rent is reasonable just hate not being answered to.

Triangle RV park was just what we needed during an extended stay for medical care. The park manager was very accommodating and we appreciate the support she provided. It is a quiet place with lots of shade. We met many nice people and dogs during our time there.

Easy check in. Decent size lots- backyard area. Tree coverage for shade/less direct sun. (Not good for starlink :p) Safe neighborhood. Quiet. Pet friendly. New dog run area is nice. Laundry on site. No bath house tho. Easy call to spectrum for internet/discount rates that are month/month (no contract needed) 30ish minutes from Raleigh on a good day (weekends)— during the weekdays expect 50+ min drive due to wrecks and construction.

While this is not even close to being a resort, and even calling it a campground might be a stretch, it felt safe, was quiet, and served well as a base for our month-long stay in Durham as our intent was not to hang out at the "campground," but simply to have a site with full hookups and 50 amp service to park our RV and use as a base while we did things in the area. Next time we are in the area for a month or more, we will try to stay here again. This is a long-term only "campground" so as expected, the vast majority of the RV's are 5th Wheels and bumper tow trailers of various vintages and conditions.
