Travelodge by Wyndham Virginia Beach Bay Beach

Very usual customer service experience at this motel. We are a military family which had driven from Texas to our new home base in Virginia Beach. Booking site read “pet friendly “. We arrived late in evening at were confronted the next morning regarding our pet. We were told not only to vacate the room but that we would be charged a pet fee (which was fine) and also that we were banned for life from Travelodge for being dishonest. We had no place to stay for the next night. Not military friendly ! Additionally:dirty floor, shower , torn sheets🤷🏽‍♂️

Due to us checking in early we had to get a room upstairs, which was average. We asked for towels and had to hunt the attendant down to get them. We also informed the staff we wanted late check out, for a $50 fee, and was still called to check out at 11 am. Location was great. Walked right to the beach

Basic room, but everything worked, and the staff was great. Good location, very good price. Plan to use them again.

The staff has been wonderful and most accommodating. The room was clean and relatively bug free. The doors don't fit as well as they could so a couple bugs wandered into the room. Some weather stripping would fix that. The location is easy to find and close to the beach. The bed was quite comfortable.

False advertisement! They are not on the beach and you can't see it from there either. The place was so gross that my husband and I, who were on our Honeymoon just slept in the car! They refuse to refund my money as well! I've got over 25 photos of proof showing how gross it really was! And they could care less because they got paid anyways! Smh...very shady and absolutely disgusting conditions!
