North Bay Shore Campground

Very friendly staff. Nice and clean campground. There's a few upgrades that would really help, such as making gravel sites near the canal so your not sinking in mud, The pool was nice, it would have been great if there was a bathroom and trash can at the pool. Little kids especially don't want to walk across the campground to use the bathroom. The 11am check out was a bit too early for our liking. We personally feel 12:30-1pm is more realistic. Overall its a great campground and we will probably be back!

We love this campground! We always enjoy t the quiet nights at the canal front tent sites, the peace and family time in an unplugged environment. The staff is always friendly, they deliver firewood to the campsites so you don't have to carry it, and they have CLEAN bathrooms and swimming pool that you can tell are regularly maintained. They also have a camp store for anything you may have forgotten

We had a great stay over the July 4 th weekend. The owner was super accommodating as the site that we were on had been underwater due to the rain. He quickly helped by leveling the site and putting stone in to make it an easier set up for us. He also sponsored two evenings of entertainment, one night with barbecue, oysters, live entertainment, and ax throwing! The locals that reside there full-time are awesome, super friendly and very helpful. We will definitely come back to this small, quaint campground.

Pictures on site are only of larger cabin. Our cabin was very small. It was the first one that is pet friendly. The frig had food stains stuck in it & wasnt working sufficiently. The blind was broken. The mattresses were like hospital mattresses…very firm & uncomfortable. There was dog hair all around the mattress. The window had dead bugs all on the window sill. The shower house was descent. The canal has a lot of algae where cabins are, but clears up on other side of camp & into the bay. I loved all the frogs everywhere. Staff is very friendly. Canoe/kayak rentals very affordable at $10. Yes, the mosquitoes are bad, but thats camping by the water & expected. It worked for us…weve come from days where we camped in tents, so we dont expect too much luxury. The wifi does not

Loved this campground. We stayed in the large cabin. The staff is amazing and the housekeeper even brought our groceries in our cabin for us because they arrived before us! Yes walmart delivers groceries to this location and it is the best vacation hack ever! The pool is awesome and the kids really enjoyed the basketball goal, park and rec room!
