Travelodge by Wyndham South Burlington

This was a good spot, got a last-minute deal on like deals.com or something. Lowest priced room available, better than Motel 6. Also a better experience than Motel 6.

This place is terrible. From dirty ass rooms to a rude and terrible manager who plays favorites with tenants, pays under minimum wage, and has rats, roaches and black mold throughout. There has also been sewage that first floor tenants have complained about coming out of their bathtubs and toilets. I have been living here for a few months and very little gets done to fix anything. Most of the rooms offer little space and mostly broken items such as tvs, phones, and even refrigerators. They will refuse SERVICE animals at the desk and even with proper documentation will refuse a room to anyone with pets. The laundry room doesn’t work, no pool, no breakfast unlike the website says and is all together is a motel that doesn’t deserve to be open. They kicked out all tenants WITHOUT WARNING. They

I had a good experience until we had to leave the motel because they were turning it into a family with children only, when asked if they could please extend our stay for a night or two until another place was found because my 78 yr old mom is in a wheelchair chair and bed ridden she cant walk at all and is incontinence her pad leaked onto the sheet they said no we had to leave. Made a lot of people very upset. Thank god we were placed in another motel that night

While the room itself was acceptable, the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. I attempted to address a concern with the front desk staff, but was met with rudeness, hostility, and an unprofessional attitude that escalated the situation rather than resolving it. The behavior I experienced was not only unwelcoming but also deeply concerning, and I can only imagine how other guests have been treated. I strongly urge management to address this issue, as no guest should be subjected to such treatment. Until meaningful changes are made, I cannot recommend this establishment—there are far better options just down the road. Travelodge, I sincerely hope you take action and replace the woman responsible for creating such a negative and unprofessional environment at your facility.

My mother was staying there recently and she got a room that had bed bugs. When she realized it and told the front office first they said they couldn’t give her another room to prevent the spread of it , then when my mom called 211 to explain the situation and get another room , 211 had to call the hotel and verify what she said was true , well the front office lied about the bed bugs tried to make my mom look like a lier when they were strait lying thru there teeth!!! Needless to say my mom isn’t there any more but it caused a lot of problems and stress and not to mention all the money lost when my mom had to throw away everything she owned in that room because of the bed bug infestation
