Delta Hotels Burlington

The hotel is decent, the rooms are clean, but if your thinking about using it for your venue, especially for a wedding, please think twice!! Because they will ruin your wedding day and not care while doing it. Long story short; planning with the coordinators throughout the process was okay.Although they did seem a bit unorganized , we decided to continue with them in hopes that our day would pan out fine. Their answers to all our requests were "Yes" and we can make it happen.. up until the day before and the day of the wedding , we were mey with No's and sorries. Kind of felt like a betrayal. The worst part was when the servers would not serve the champagne for the wedding toast nor the wedding cake. They put everything on the side and expected our guests to get up to retrieve it. We chose Delta because it was a pet-free hotel and hoped it would be cleaner. We commend Delta for that! However, there were a number of problems. The biggest one, and most important, is that there were no safety strips on the very slick bathtub. They need to remedy that to avoid injuries and lawsuits. Second, there was no housekeeping, so be prepared to do your own. We had a two-night stay, and when we returned to our room for the second night, new towels had been left on the sink, but all of the old ones were in a sodden heap on the bathroom floor though directions indicated to do that if you wanted new towels. They simply weren't picked up and removed. Our trashcans were overflowing with food, cans, etc. Couldn't the staff at least empty them for guests? Third, the bathroom sink

To start, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Due to covid, there was no regular room cleaning, but fresh towels were quickly delivered, so that was great service. There’s a Keurig in the room, but no coffee in the lobby. There are a couple of negatives that aren’t significant, but the room was not cheap, and I expect better attention to detail from Marriott. First, the bathroom in our room was crazy small. I don’t expect that anything can be done about the size of the bathroom, but it may be of interest to prospective guests. The other negative is that the hotel is worn and needs some updating. We had a really nice stay at the Delta Burlington Hotel. Maria at the front desk was very helpful and made check-in easy. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The TV remote was nowhere to be found in the room but that’s my only complaint! It’s super close to the airport which is really convenient.

This is a nice hotel in a good location. It's 5-7 , minutes by car to downtown and most other places that you'd like to go to if you are visiting. The rooms are are a decent size(not large and not small), clean and well maintained. It felt safe to stay and park there. Conveniently, there's a Starbucks across the road for those that like their coffee. There are also a good number of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.
