Anchorage Inn

Had a fabulous, relaxing time here at the Anchorage Inn. Kyle(?) (red haired young man)on the front desk was absolutely amazing. He made check in super easy and quick which is great after that long drive. He was very helpful with all of my extra needs. (I am a needy person 😊) Another employee even carried my luggage up the stairs for me! The price was absolutely reasonable for all that you get. Would definitely stay again!

Hello! Our stay was fine. The staff at check in were pleasant and there was coffee and snacks for breakfast. We did, however, have a few critiques. The hotel claims to be non-smoking, but it smells like my grandparents houses. I’m not sure if it is coming from the smoking room or if the smell has remained since it was a smoking hotel. The furniture and decoration is very outdated and could really use a revamp. The carpet and furniture was also quite damaged and stained. It was fine , as a place to sleep for one night as I had an appointment far from home and we didn’t want to be driving all night. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel twice, however.

Positive: Location, price & flexible cancellation policy. Negative: Had to ask for towels. The bedside lamps were not connected to a wall switch & one's switch had broken off, leaving a sharp point that could have hurt a stupid person. Breakfast was cold grab & go.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed. The beds were so low to the ground. It was like sleeping on the floor. Extremely hard. The bathroom was like a closet. No room to move The pool was nice and so wasn't a hot tub. Breakfast sucked as all it is is granola bars and donuts coffee that has coffee cups the size of my finger. I mean for the way that the advertisers place like. It's a beautiful, beautiful place and the money they're charging never ever ever again

Run don't walk AWAY from booking this hotel! We were trying to find a place that only required 1 night's stay during parents weekend at UVM and found this place which online looked just fine. Some reviews said it was dated, but nice. So book it we did. Pros: Staff was nice and location is very convenient Cons: This place has not been maintained AT ALL. The pictures online must have been taken years ago. Our room was appalling! The furniture was a mismatch mess, not in good condition at all. The lamp shade looked like it was stomped on. The headboard didn't go the length of the bed. The trim paint around the room was peeling. The ceiling tiles were stained. There was damage along the chair rail.
