Travelodge by Wyndham San Francisco Airport North

Pros and cons. Pros: if you persevere you can find a good rice. The shuttle is definitely a pro. The mattress is firm, and the room was not noisy despite proximity to the highway. There are toiletries. Cons: The WiFi barely works. Instead of one full-sized pillow, there are two half pillows. Very bizarre. The shower area is very run down. The safe is in the bathroom and it’s all rusty. Front desk is not at all customer service oriented. They don’t answer the phone. None of the ice machines worked (and someone was sitting behind one, at night), but no effort was made to correct the situation. Nighttime front desk doesn’t appear to care much about anything. Our room was very far away from the entrance. We were told there were no empty rooms closer.

Well. The people who clean this property are very kind and hardworking. The woman working at the front desk is great, but let me tell you something about the men who work at the front desk. They can’t be bothered. There is no phone like to call the front. The laundry machine ate my quarters and there was no sign that it was broken, wouldn’t give it back. I ask for a towel or toilet paper and they sigh and pretend like it’s the craziest thing they have ever heard. I will say that they probably put up with a lot of degenerates that want to use their hotel for doing *****. I get it, tough gig. But the people like me, who just want to be treated with respect and a basic understanding of logic, we are out of luck. I would give them 0 for service if it wasn’t for their amazing housekeeping staff

After arriving at 2am from a delayed flight I was instructed to walk to the farthest building on the second floor to receive a different room than what I booked. It was far walk! And as a solo women traveler this was not ideal. The room was ran down and trashy. The sheets seemed clean so that was good. I touched things very minimally and slept on a 1/4 of the bed. The pillows are 1/2 pillows so a 1/4 is easy to measure. |They are in desperate need of an update for visual appeal and hygienic purposes. Like wtf is all over this Carpet?? Needless to say I’d never return or suggest this dump to anyone. I didn’t even unpack my toothbrush because the less my stuff touches the better

If you want the Marriott, go to the Marriott. But if you want a decent place to stay at a great price, this is it. Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice, clean room even had an iron and ironing board. Comfortable bed, well-lit. Two minor issues: had to replace the room key cards several times in two days, and parking is scarce. Without a doubt, I'd stay here again.

A good overnight place that's close to the airport. Probably not somewhere to stay for exploring San Francisco as it's a long ways from the city. The property is actually several buildings, loosely operating under the Wyndham brand. There was a line to check in, which I found unusual for Travelodges. There is an IHOP next door. The room itself was reasonably clean and functional, although some adjoining rooms have connecting doors. I might stay here again if I'm overnighting at the airport.
