Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport Oyster Point

I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport Waterfront during a recent business trip and unfortunately encountered several issues. When I first checked into my room, the bathroom floor and shower floor were visibly dirty. I had to contact housekeeping to come back and clean the bathroom before I could even freshen up and take a shower. Later during my stay, the shower amenities were also not replenished and I ran out. The hotel’s heating and cooling system also appears to be centrally controlled rather than adjustable within the room. The room stayed around 75°F the entire time, which made it very uncomfortable for sleeping. I'm not one to usually write reviews because I'd like to think im pretty accommodating to what can be thrown at me but this experience surely was like no other. I picked this hotel due to its proximity to my business meetings nearby and the walkability. Unfortunately, the weather stopped me of those plans. Day one, the room I had asked for- a King Suite, was changed to a Queen suite. No problem, all good. I can work with it. I was super impressed by facility, the cleanliness, the room was great until it wasn't. The rooms temperature was set to 53°- mind you, this was an extremely rainy/cloudy week in San Francisco, with strong winds. So, no, that would not do. I turned up the heat to 68° and now to waited. Positive: The happy hour reception was not what I remembered from years past, so not great. We choose to stay for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the menu options and had a great meal. The next mornings complimentary cook to order breakfast was great. Negative: ""

We enjoyed our stay here. It has been a while since I last stayed at this location. I used to stay here when I lived in the area. This Embassy Suites has changed a lot, which I really appreciate. They have updated many things, and our room was different from the typical Embassy Suites we have stayed at before. Everything seemed clean, and the breakfast was great, which is one of the main reasons we like staying at Embassy Suites. My kids enjoyed the pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and overall experience. We stayed from January 25th to 27th when my grandmother passed away. Janet made our stay warm and comforting. She consistently ensured that all our needs were met and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Thank you very much, Janet, for your kindness and care. Way to go for setting such a great example for all other hotel attendants.🙏💖
