Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel

I was hesitant to book based on the proprietor's adversarial responses. The place smells like cheap cologne and has had seemingly incoherent updates throughout. Overall, it is clean and near the airport at what is a budget price for a mid-tier stay in San Francisco. Front desk and bar staff are great. Great for a quick stay while on business. Good value.

had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with any requests, which made me feel very welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.The hotel’s location is excellent — convenient for exploring the city and close to restaurants and public transport. Breakfast was fresh and varied, offering a great start to the day.Overall, the service and facilities exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Positive: Comfy bed, tv was flat screen, good size and had ample channel selection, nice bath products, hot breakfast with many choices and seating was enjoyable, the location was very convenient for my business trip, and the lobby featured a water fountain wall Negative: Thermostat did not work, coffee maker did not work and the bathroom had many hairs throughout the shower and toilet - cleaning needed more attention to detail

This hotel was exactly what I expected. I gave it five stars because it completely met my expectations for a slightly above budget generic hotel experience. The room was clean and fine , the late night clerk was friendly and helpful and efficient as was the morning clerk . The shuttle ran on time. The breakfast was good, They had espresso and fresh eggs plus waffles and cereal and hashbrowns and sausage and store-bought pastries. Got stuck here overnight and I was happy I chose this place .

I am shocked that in the world’s leading economy, the infrastructure can feel so 'third world.' The hotel is old, ugly, and desperately needs a complete renovation. The room felt dingy, and the bathtub had a serious drainage problem, which is unacceptable. As for the breakfast, it’s the worst kind of 'American standard' - just oily scrambled eggs and a waffle maker. There wasn't a single vegetable in sight. To make matters worse, the amount of waste produced during breakfast is appalling. Everything is single-use, and it all ends up in a massive trash can without any recycling or segregation. Everyone is smiling. Perhaps they simply don't realize that guests may expect much more…
