Travelodge by Wyndham Reno Downtown

It was a business trip and the person who stayed had many troubles and issues. |This person doesn't speak very well english, so the company had to talk on the phone with the hotel.|Since he got there at the check-in they asked for a credit card, he had one but the plastic card didn't have his name on it, so the recepcionist didn't want to give him access to the room, even if the reservation was already paid. To get the room, the only resolution was that another person should come and show a credit card with the name and an ID. That was a little complicated but we could figure it out. |This reservation was for 1 week. |After that we made a new reservation to extend his stay for another week and they asked the same, for a credit card with name on it or they cancelled the resevation. | We und

One night stay - Front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. But the noise all night from traffic and street bikes was overwhelming. The lack of basic cleanliness was frustrating. How do you not wipe down counters and mop floors? To reach for a cup and have it & the counter covered in black shaving clippings is disgusting. To wipe a tiny section of floor and have the washcloths turn black is sick. Left me questioning if I actually slept on clean sheets. Booked through 3rd party so refund wasn’t an option.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything including the fact they are holding my 100$ deposit hostage still a week later

Due to the the snow in with i80 road closed down. I came expecting service would be at least decent due to the 2 star. i received horrible services and was waiting minutes for a simple answers the woman in the front didn't acknowledge me nor she try to help me. I left in a heartbeat due to the disrespect and will not be going back.

Motel and rooms are filthy! Noise level was horrible. Shower shot water all over bathroom, tv and mini fridge didn’t not work. No help from motel office. So many issues with the room and the lack of safety forced me me to seek other accommodations for my young son
