Residence Inn by Marriott Reno South

This is a nice hotel the staff are friendly , helpful and always smiling. The rooms and hallways are well kept an smell nice. I was excited about there mini golf area they have near the heated pool. The hotel is near a shopping plaza and Walmart. There is also a casino and restaurant next to the hotel. I stayed in the one bedroom suite for 1 month and there is nothing serious that I can complain about .

The hotel is new and in a great location. Great view of the mountain landscape with very minimal noise. My room was ready and the staff was courteous as well as helpful. I was able to book a room somewhat last minute, but was accommodated with no problems.

We stayed here for a long weekend and everything was great. We did have to wait 10 minutes for our room but the lobby was nice and clean. There was coffee, tea, lemon water available. As soon as the room became available the front desk let us know. Check in was easy. Breakfast had limited options but it was overall good. The room was nice and clean. The kitchenette was perfect. Nice and quiet area! Definitely would stay here again if we are in the area.

I stayed here for a week while in town, this is a great hotel! Brand new, clean, comfortable, and every single person on the staff is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and great amenities... even a putting green outside by the pool! Just ask them to borrow the putters :D Free breakfast is different everyday and always fresh and delicious. Loved walking across the street to eat dinner at the restaurants at the casino next door too, what a convenient location!!

Built in August 2025. Basically a brand new building in a very relaxed part of Reno. Super clean, friendly staff, 30 min drive to mt. rose. Free parking. Good place for families, low key business travel or an active getaway. Internet was good enough to run a 1 hour ms teams call in midday. I don’t think there is a scheduled full cleaning of rooms each day like one might expect at a hotel which fine. Located adjacent to a small casino, mini storage, homes. 2 minute drive to restaurants and shopping walkable but not an enjoyable walk. Close enough to get good food delivery and ride share pickups but far enough away from the busyness and foot traffic of Reno.
