Travelodge by Wyndham North Charleston

No smoke alarms in 1st room. Had 6 bites over my right arm, back and hand in under 4 hours of going to sleep. Toilet was being held down by 1 flange bolt, unfinished drywall on 2 walls, bathroom door doesn't close due to damage and many baby cockroaches seen in all parts of the room after being bitten and waking up at 2 a.m. Requested ice from front desk as the only ice machine on site didn't work......NEVER BROUGHT ICE! 2ND ROOM, was in better condition. Cleaner. As we moved to this handicap unit, the fire alarm went off, but the fire alarms in the room never sounded or lit up. Then checked smoke detector.....NO BATTERY!!!! Of course at this point, I was heated, went to front Desk and spoke to DICK. SANE GUY WHO PROMISED ICE AND PILLOWS....NEVER CAME THROUGH!!!! SO, LIL RICHARD....YOUR F

The TV had no program guide / channel guide. Also, I am hard of Hearing but the closed caption on the remote / the TV didn't recognize it.

COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! There were cockraoches crawling all over the bathroom and in the drawers. The room smelled of urine and looked like they had never been cleaned. Youre better off staying under a bridge! Absolutely disgusting! If I could give a negative star rating I would.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Room was dirty. Toilet didnt flush. Bugs in the room. Bed was dirty.
