Travelodge by Wyndham Escanaba

Stay away!!! We booked through booking.com. They were unable to bill booking saying " this has never happened before but booking didn't send us a card to bill to". Booking said they did. Then we had a bag stolen out of our car the night before we left. Again, we were told, " this never happened here before". The breakfast did not count as a breakfast. Only cereal, mini muffins, waffles, bread, and bagels.

Booked a King Room. Room itself was small, but worked. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. I actually thought the floor might be better. Bathroom was probably the best feature! Didn’t have a plug to take a bath, but mirror was perfect, and everything was clean! They had breakfast, but was also so small that two people barely fit to grab anything. Very nice people however. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Basic hotel commodities, clean and convenient location. Served breakfast but, it was very basic... bagels, toast, tiny muffins, cereal, make your own waffles and coffee. At the time we were here the sauna was out of order. Staff was very friendly. I'd stay again.

Wowzers. If you were looking for the definition of bad, you have found it. We needed a queen-size at a minimum and got a double. The sheets were stained. The comforter smelled horribly, just terrible. Putrid. |They charged us twice because their machine said "declined" when we clearly saw approved on our end. Shady. Nice enough to your face but is it fake, are they trying to rip us off? It was my second time and last staying here. Escanaba has more to offer than this place.

The hotel room was very filthy. I had to mop the floor and mop the walls with a Swiffer wet mop to remove a layer of FILTH. The room smelled horrible and the AC unit had MOLD on the fins that the air passed over to come into the room. The ironing board had a layer of dark matter on it that I did not venture to touch. The fridge in the room froze all of the items even when turned down to the second lowest level. Only one of the two ice makers worked when we checked in and the second one stopped working the second to last day. No attempt to fix the machine even though it was very hot outside and we relied on ice for our water bottles. The keypad entrance to the hotel was never operational during the stay. The door was always unlocked no matter the time of day or NIGHT, allowing for peopl
