Travelodge by Wyndham Culver City

So listen, this place is old and a bit worse for wear, BUT after staying here twice, I can say they seem to clean very well and that’s more important to me. If you care about peeling wallpaper, it’s not for you, but if you need a reasonably-priced room right in Culver City, it’s just fine! The front desk lady was super nice both times I’ve been here and allowed me to check in a little early too (based on availability). I didn’t explore much as I was here for work, but there is an amazing restaurant just downstairs (Metro Cafe) and other restaurants and bars nearby, so I’d say location is pretty good. Street noise was never too loud for me.

I book three nights at this hotel through Expedia. I checked in and I couldn’t believe I had to talk through a protective glass shield. After sliding my payment through a hole at the bottom of the shield, I proceeded to the rickety dingy elevator that took me one floor to a creepy outside walkway to my room.|When I opened the door is when the stench hit me. I could not believe what was in front of me. I immediately went down to the desk and informed the receptionist that I could not stay there. |When I asked for a refund, I was told that it was non-refundable because I booked through Expedia. I have traveled around the world and this was one of the - if not the worst rooms I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

Location in Culver City was very convenient. Walkable and freeway was close by. Room was spacious, clean, had hardwood floors and the king beds were very comfortable. Noise level was fine except for police cars going by late at night with their sirens on.

My room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with a comfortable work desk and high-speed Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay productive. The bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured I got a good night’s rest after long workdays.

This place has horrible hospitality to their guests, The manager is rude. they prioritize the restaurant below and the businesses behind them. Good luck trying to use the back entrance during the day as the entrance is blocked from the business behind the hotel. And most of the parking is used by their employees. They are some good employees here Don't get me wrong.
