Culver City Hostel

The owner threatened to kick me out when I asked for refund, which is due to a major incident where I could not sleep due to noise problem from next door. Avoid room number 10 at all cost. It is close to rest room so you can hear every noise from people and smell travels through. No window is terrifying.

We booked this room for a quick refresh during our 11 hour layover in LA before our international flight. The hostel was very clean, organized, and served our needs. I would highly recommend. The staff provided all of the information in a detailed email with a video on how to locate the hostel as well as where to park.

This is a hostel, very popular in Europe and Canada. People have access to a main room with all the needed commodities and their own room for privacy. You can call the owner 24/7 for help if needed. BED BUGS! Stayed here for a few days on a business trip. Seemed not too bad at the start, but quickly turned into a nightmare. I noticed my last day that I had some bites that looked like mosquito bites... but then the number kept going up! I hunted around the room and quickly found bed bugs. I definitely got them here and not somewhere else. It was almost midnight after 3 12 hours days, and the owner only offered me a 50% refund... I asked to be moved into another room because it was after midnight and I was exhausted, AND a full refund considering I would have to spend hours cleaning my clothes, miss time from work sanitizing everything, and possibly have to replace $1000+ of belongings including a brand new $300 backpack and a brand new $300 suitcase. We were a bit worried because of some previous negative comments. But it was actually amazing! Our room was very clean, same as kitchen and bathroom. The housekeeping lady was friendly and always happy to help. Would stay there again. Only „negative“ aspect; no guest laundry available and parking is available in the neighborhood blocks.
