Travelers Inn-Sherman

Stay anywhere but here—staying in your car would be better! The room was disgusting — no control knob on the AC, which blew hot air all night; no handle on the faucet (!!!), TV didn’t work; it was filthy in every way imaginable; and they tried to charge me a $75 pet fee instead of the $10 I had been quoted. Bottom line: stay ANYWHERE ELSE.

I got a room for 2 days while passing through & the staff is the best staff out there!! Bend over backwards for you!! My room had issues which I DID NOT bring attention to. The sink didn’t have a knob & there was no microwave & no remote for the tv which only had 4 channels but the bed was absolutely perfect. The price should be lowered but with economy the way it is, I understand. I wish all motels/hotels had staff like those at the Travelers Inn in Sherman Texas.

I had read the reviews of all the other cheap motels in the area, and I chose this one because it seemed to suck the least of all of them,, lol. It smelled good when I walked in and the carpet looked new, had been vacuumed well, and I didn't see a speck on it. You can tell it is an older motel (reminds me of the cheap apartment I had in college (good enough for the price point). All the furniture was clean. The sink was not super clean but clean enough. the sheets and towels were clean, and that was the most important thing to me!!||||As a mature adult, I was not realistically expecting to walk into a $200 hotel room for $65 a night. If you want that kind of room, you need to pay that kind of price. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but it was not nearly as bad as some of the reviews I

I used to go here when I was much younger more than 30 years ago. Back then it was very nasty and stuff. But now that I'm back in my hometown I'm staying here. It has made more than a 360 turn around I have not had any issues at all since I am here. The only downfall is the construction for the highway but they have no control over it so they get five stars all around! Great job!

Clean rooms and great staff. Even with the Corona restrictions the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Only complaint is the pillows are super soft. So if you like a firm pillow bring one with you. Other than that it was a nice room. Would definitely stay again
