Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sherman Hwy 75 by IHG

Guy at the front desk was very pleasant. That's where the positive ends 😑 elevator smelled bad, carpet in hallway and room were full of stains, mold around tub and corners in the bathroom, AC made a weird sound on and off all night, kept waking my daughter, we got to the breakfast area around 8, they were out of a lot already and it didn't look very clean or fresh. All around a very disappointing experience.

They have been remodeling in the place now seems to be nicer than some of the previous reviews indicated. The staff was also super friendly, Crystal at the front desk was very helpful.

This was not one of our better stays. We are loyal IHG customers but we’re disappointed to find the hotel under construction with no prior warning before booking. The rooms were dirty. An old popsicle stick was on the floor in our room, there was no soap in the bathroom, and the phone was missing from the room. On top of that we booked a room with a sofa bed. When we pulled it out, the duct tape that was holding it together (literally!) had broken and the foot of the mattress just hung to the floor. When asked to be moved to another room, the only other room available was on the 4th floor. This was an issue for us because we have a special needs daughter and the elevator was broken. So we simply had to live with it. Finally, the indoor pool we thought would be nice was disgus

This was by far the most disgusting, overpriced hotel stay I have ever experienced my entire life. The furniture was old and stained. The wooden furniture was chipped. The refrigerator was wobbly. The caulk in the bathroom was obviously done by an amateur. The curtains were stained and broken. And last, but certainly not least. I actually had to kill a large brown cockroach in the bathroom. Oh not to mention the bathroom towel was buckling and cracked, and a vent over the toilet seat was badly in need of cleaning. This was an awful awful experience.

I have never seen a hotel with such a friendly staff. Everybody at the hotel was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated. It also had a great location! The meeting room is very spacious and was fairly priced!
