Comfort Inn Sherman - Denison Area

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The reason I booked this location was for the pool (which was closed for maintenance-been that way for a while)... and the gym (NONE OF THE EQUIPMENT WORKED PROPERLY or at all). Please take care of this or warn the guess somewhere so they will know before booking. But the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT... they did give enough points on comfort in loyalty program for a free night stay at any location and some complimentary snacks and we did appreciate that.

Our stay was very comfortable. The gal “Charlie” that checked us in was wonderful, super nice and very friendly. Helped us find a convenient spot to park, close to our room. POOL was temporarily out of order, big disappointment since we wanted to soak in the hot tub. Room was quiet and comfortable, but could use some cleaning/housekeeping training.

The Pool was not available any of the three days No one at the front desk could tell us why or when it would be open again. Maintenance was not available any of the three days we stayed. There was no room service, we had to go to the lobby for everything including shampoo as is was not in the room upon arrival. The exterior side door lock was broken making the hall accessible without a key. The elevator was shut down during breakfast hours for maintenance. Our room door was hung crooked and the lock would not latch (we had to push and pull very hard to use the door). and use the emergency flip lock to make sure the door was not opened by anyone while we were in the room. The sheetrock had clear water damage along the ceiling line. The room smelt of smoke and mold/mildew. The ice machine

I was originally in room 324. The room had water damage in the ceiling, the bathroom door would not shut because it would drag on the floor, and the toilet would run constantly. I was then moved to room 211. The door to the room would not lock when the door fully shut. You had to lift up on the handle to get the lock to engage. The gal at the counter said they have no way of knowing about damage without a customer telling them. Why do I have to pay them to stay the night, plus do a service for them?

the shower wouldn't turn off, the toliet kept running until you shock handle, the internet wouldn't turn on in the room. When i come on a work I trip is it very important for the internet to work. all i can say about this trip was the bed was comfortable and the tv worked. other than that i would say this work trip sucked. do disappointed...
