Good location with easy access. Area is quiet. Rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture updated with USB outlets for charging, which is greatly appreciated. Bed is okay but could for sure use a comforter or heavier blanket. The HVAC unit is very loud but works. Breakfast bar has good choices but doesn't always start on time and front desk shares employees from sister hotel next door so sometime have to make a phone call and wait for someone to come over.

First and foremost, the front desk lady ANDREA was great! Made sure we were good throughout our stay. Rooms were clean but plain. Quiet hotel though with a good atmosphere. Definitely would recommend!

My husband and I just returned from a three day stay. The staff upon check in Friday night were very kind and made us feel welcome. However My interactions with the morning staff member Rita were not very pleasant. Every time I asked a question of her she seemed as though she was inconvenienced or didn’t want to be there. Also I went to the pool on Saturday morning and I couldn’t believe how dirty the water was. Lots of dirt in it and numerous dead bugs floating around.A family come in with two little girls and when they saw it the first thing one of the little girls said was this pool is dirty. We chose this hotel for its proximity between Virginia Beach, Norfolk, & Williamsburg. Plenty of food options in the surrounding area. They’re also pet friendly which was a huge plus for us. Our room was very clean, spacious, & had your standard appliances, though it was also in need of an upgrade. The hotel staff was very good at being reactive. We had to ask for new towels, a tidy up service, reschedule our weekly cleaning and/or clean the pool. The staff quickly was able to fulfill these requests. However, the hotel would benefit from being more proactive, like scheduling pool cleanings every morning, or calling to checking in on guests extended stay needs. Huge, quiet rooms. Staff was great. Breakfast left something to be desired. If I'd been staying longer than one night, I would have cooked my own in my room.
