Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront

We stayed here while we visited family for 2 nights. I wish I could say it was a great experience but it was honestly a nightmare. We checked in very late the first night and noticed immediately walking in the room that it had a cigarette smell. Unfortunately we were too tired to worry about it and brought our stuff in. We also didn't look at the bed to make sure it was clean till we were ready to actually lay down. It was covered in hair between the blanket and sheets and stained. The bathroom shower and sink also had hair everywhere. We called down to the front desk and asked for new bedding at least. They just immediately said they'd bring up keys for a new room with no apology. It was 1 am at this point but we packed everything back up and moved rooms. The second room was clean thankfu

We had a two night stay due to some family matters and we were given a very good customer service. A great dinner at the on-site restaurant, a little pricey, but well worth every penny delicious.. the folks at the front desk for both nights was so very pleasant and friendly. We had a few different interactions with a few different folks so I hate to leave anybody out. I will say that everyone worked as a team. A very well run hotel in a great area with a good view of the riverfront.

The young lady at the service desk her name was Maya. She was outstanding. She was able to divide outstanding Vip world class customer service as she checked us in way to go Maya.|We went to the crust in Cork. Where we were serviced by Leslie, the Amazing bartender she provided outstanding customer service by remembering us from our previous visit here at the hotel. When we come to Suffolk, this is our go to. I give them a 10 out of 10 for location, atmosphere rooms and tremendous value. When you go to the bar, make sure you go to Leslie and Jessica! because they guarantee you a good time!

Attended a reunion in near by Smithfield. The Stonewood Inn had been rebranded into an Econolodge. The check in was seamless. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. They like a $100 deposit. My room was clean and neat. Comfortable bed. I got a king with living room ie sofa couch. I did this in case another classmate opted to come. But no...the room had a small refrigerator, microwave, desk and Spectrum TV . The only downer was the strong cigarette odor. It seems to be in the hallway and perhaps the carpet needs to be changed. They are remodeling as I noted the hall were being freshly painted. I do recommend the Econ lodge
