This was a nice hotel and the staff were very nice. They have a little snack bar too. There is a shuttle that is complementary for anywhere within a 5 mile radius, which is perfect for how close this hotel is to SeaWorld. The room I had was furnished with a little kitchen area and had everything you would need for a short stay. Breakfast was served from 7 to 10am and they had plenty of food you could take back to your room. I will definitely stay there again for our next SeaWorld trip. Shuttle driver was also cool. We watched a football game together and had a good time watching my team win. Go Seahawks!

Close enough to Sea World San Antonio that you could almost walk, in a tranquil** medi-park, TownePlace Suites by Marriot's room was clean, the lobby was small but laid out well, and the breakfast was fresh and attentively managed. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. TowneSuites has an adequate, but trim parking lot which looks like it might not have a lot of spaces to spare if the hotel were booked full. So no parking an RV or U-Haul across spaces y'all! **About the tranquil medi-park: there is a "popular country bar" (maps description) called Saloon 151 right across the side street entrance to the TowneSuites, featuring a huge outdoor patio with food truck(s) - we only saw one - which also advertises a weekly Sunday Church service, lol. The staff was very helpful, especially Garrett, who assisted us in switching rooms when we had an issue. The rooms could be a bit cleaner, particularly behind the fridge and stove. I usually check the room before unloading my luggage, and in the first room we found a roach on the bathroom wall, which we killed, along with some dead ones near the stove—this is why we requested to move rooms. The new room was better, but it did have a noticeable smell, so we had to buy air freshener. The carpets may need a deep cleaning. Other than those issues, the staff was helpful, and the location was convenient and close to the expressway.

My wife and I stayed two nights at this property. Overall, our experience was very positive. The room appeared to be clean and the kitchenette was very nice and fully stocked. We stayed in room 214 and the only problem was a slow draining bathroom sink. We had breakfast on both mornings and overall it was a positive experience even though the waffle maker and drink machine was out of order. As an alternative, the kitchen staff served refreshments in pitchers. The entire staff was cordial and helpful -- especially the front desk staff. This hotel also offers free shuttle bus service to SeaWorld and other destinations within a 5 mile radius. This is a great service that all guests should take advantage of while staying at this facility.

This stay reflected a consistent lack of service, attention, and accountability across multiple areas. From billing errors and unprofessional front desk conduct, to room cleanliness issues and an extremely poor breakfast offering, the experience fell far below brand standards.|What was most concerning is that this property was hosting military-related guests, including families and children connected to the Air Force. For a hotel representing a brand often associated with military and government travel and presence in SAN ANTONIO...|TOWNPLACE.......lack of basic food availability, courtesy, and professionalism was disappointing and felt disrespectful to those who protect and serve our country..Our MILITARY MATTERS AS WELL!!|In a previous professional role, I worked as a secret shopper, and
