Hotel reception regardless of shift was exceptional. All 3 individuals I interacted with were very accommodating and professional. The lady that pointed the hot tub and fire pit is an 😇. Appreciate the kindness, my back feels 100% better. Thank you all. Even Maintenance was friendly. You have a Great team there. Very impressive

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Townplace Suites in Vancouver while visiting family and friends in the area. We've stayed at other Vancouver hotels on previous trips, but decided to try the relatively new Townplace and were pleased with the overall experience. Check in was friendly and quick, and we stayed in a "Studio King" room on the 3rd floor. Despite it being a "studio", it was very spacious with a full couch and desk, and had a kitchenette with fridge, stove top, dishwasher, coffee maker, cups and glasses, cookware and utensils. Everything was clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the AC worked well. The only "issues" were slow wifi, noise of loud kids from a room somewhere close that came through the ceiling vent during the day, and the bathroom was really small with almost n

Positive: Swimming pool Negative: Breakfast was horrible... There was hardly anything available. The waffle machine was empty so the gal closed it. There was no sausage because they ran out? I had to ask for a container of dry cereal.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Portland Vancouver. Serious issue with rewards – We booked the stay using points, but the hotel not only deducted the points, they also deducted our free night award (up to 85k points) without any notification. We only found out when we tried to use the award later and discovered it missing. We then had to contact Marriott support to figure out what happened. Lack of transparency about pet fees – We didn’t originally plan to bring our pet when booking, but ended up doing so. Even then, the front desk failed to clearly explain the pet fee and additional cleaning fee amounts at check-in. These charges only appeared on the final bill. Regardless of circumstances, guests deserve upfront information on all fees.

Overall just a great hotel to stay at. Very nice staff clean rooms and facility. All around the hotel there are plenty of areas to walk around with a big park area behind it which is also very clean. Plenty of shopping and food options around.
