La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Vancouver

We made a last minute reservation here to get us closer to the airport for an early morning flight. We booked thru Expedia. Check in was smooth, courteous. The room/suite was surprisingly nice - enough furniture to have friends over :) Decent TV, microwave, little fridge, and guess what the pillows weren't made of stone they were actually comfy! They offered a continental breakfast but we were leaving before that, so really didnt get to inspect any of the other amenities. I'd stay here again if the situation arose. And, fyi, shop around, although i paid a pretty low rate I was crestfallen to find lower rates after i'd booked and prepaid.

Our room was very spacious. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. We travel with our 2 miniature Dachshunds and they are always welcome at La Quinta! The front desk staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. If you need a place to stay in Vancouver, WA, I highly recommend this La Quinta Inn.

Positive: We were there to attend a concert at Cascade Amphitheater, and this hotel is SO CLOSE. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Negative: Nope. I was pretty happy with my experience.

Pros: Good location, close to everything. Mostly clean in the lobby and breakfast area. Food was decent. Cons: pretty dated, dingy rooms. Our room had ants all over the place. Our room was close to the freeway and the noise was very noticeable at night. Beds were not very comfortable and the mattress was disgusting under the sheets. Parking lot is also pretty small. If you are on a budget and the price is significantly lower than other places in the area, then stay here. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
