The Heathman Lodge

I frequently stay at the Heathman Lodge with my pet, as we enjoy socializing with our friends at the Hudson Bar & Grill. We consistently have a delightful time in the vicinity. However, traveling with a pet can be frustrating when paying a premium for a pet-friendly room only to receive the least desirable room in the lodge. The staff is exceptional, providing helpful and courteous service. Nevertheless, I was dissatisfied with the condition of the furniture in our room. The doors and walls bore marks that appeared to be caused by unsupervised dogs, with minimal evidence of repairs being made. The sofa was in such condition, it looked as if it was salvaged from a homeless camp. I was not pleased with paying a premium for this inferior room. I hope that management will consider this crit

My puppy and I were well taken care of. The staff were so nice, helpful, and accommodating. The location is great, it’s just 10-15 minutes from Portland. The rooms are so clean and lovely. Any issues I had the staff jumped right on it. There is also the nice touch of birdsong in the hallways. You can barely hear them but if you can it’s really nice. The rooms block out the noise from the road especially at night pretty well. It’s a very warm and cozy gem in Vancouver. Worth every penny.

I transport items all over the country so I basically stay in hotels every night. I will not be back and would rather stay at the other hotel down the street. The outside looks really unique and was well designed. The Walmart lighting inside and office tiles in the hallways destroys the atmosphere. Was very disappointed. Bathroom smelled like pee. I could not tell if it was the seal around the toilet, shower drain or tiles/bathroom was not clean. Rooms were big and spacious. Never had the fire alarm in the room turn on while I was taking a shower.

We had a surprise birthday party at the Heathman Lodge for my husband. Many family & friends from out of town stayed there. Jen helped me with the banquet room and meal planning and everything was perfect! Room was beautiful, dinners were delicious and staff was superb! Wendy was our bartender and she did a great job along with being so nice, everyone got to know her! The rooms we all stayed in were beautiful and immaculate. We all wished we were staying longer. The next morning we all had brunch at Hudson’s restaurant which was very nice and delicious food. Our daughter said that Cecily, our server, was the best she’s ever had and we all agreed! Easy to get to, great location. More importantly, the hotel is beautiful from top to bottom. The ambiance is relaxing, the rooms are spacious and the decor is warm and inviting. We had the best waitress we've ever had in Cecelee during breakfast. The entire staff was lovely. Can't say enough or recommend any more highly. If you're traveling to the area, this is the place you stay.
