TownePlace Suites by Marriott Port St. Lucie I-95

I stayed in December 2025 and just remembered to write my review. ||VERY nice clean, modern, newer hotel. Check in guy was very nice and accommodating. Large breakfast area well-stocked and clean with plenty of food. Great coffee and a lot of seating. There’s a gym on the first floor (ha ha, wasted on me!), a big coin laundry (nice and I did use it). Beautiful outdoor pool. There’s an area by the pool and in front of the hotel with seating and chatting with friends. Big free parking lot.||I travel with my dog and the hotel is dog friendly. The charge is a one-time $100. That’s a little steep, but I’m happy to find hotels that allow dogs. There is plenty of open green space to walk your dog and they provide bags, so please clean up after your dog so nice hotels like this one cont

We stayed from 12/15/25–12/16/25 and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The rooms were beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, which immediately put me at ease—especially since I’m very particular (okay, a total germ-phobe 😄) when it comes to hotel stays. This place truly felt like a hidden gem. The front desk staff were outstanding—professional, courteous, and genuinely friendly from check-in to check-out. Their attention to detail and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. Breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surprise and a great way to start the day. Positive: "" Negative: I was over charged for my pet stay. I was there for one night to get away from fireworks bc my dog is afraid of them and another guest at the hotel had a dog & was not charged the pet fee. I feel like I was stereotyped and was treated unfairly.

I really liked the location BUT this hotel has been used and abused. The condition of the room was not up to the typical standard of quality I am used to with Marriott. The room had a damaged and stained sofa, marks on the back of the bathroom door, stains in the shower, dinged up stove knobs, and a loud rattling in the air condition unit which we had to turn off to sleep. The reviews of the hotel looked great, and I thought that maybe it was just our room, but when I went to the fitness center there were no towels and several machines were not operational. I was very disappointed with my stay. Oh, and yes, I did bring this to the attention of the hotel staff on two occasions which I was met with, "we will make note of that". After an extended day of travel and while coping with issues after the loss of my father, we arrived at the hotel extremely fatigued and distressed after being left without a place to stay by airbnb. Janae, the night auditor, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, compassion, and poise. Her calm demeanor, patience, and genuine empathy provided much-needed reassurance during a very difficult moment. Janae went above and beyond her role, offering thoughtful assistance that made us feel supported and cared for rather than simply processed as guests.
