Best Western Port St. Lucie

I just hosted my baby shower in the conference room and it was a 10/10 experience. We picked the venue as a halfway point for everyone traveling while also needing a place to stay and it was perfect. The staff was exceptional. There was one lady specifically who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable on my celebration day (I think her name was Lisa but I’m not sure…very nice blonde lady). The conference room was the perfect size for our FORTY guests with the way they had it set up for us (which was exactly how we asked) they provided beautiful table clothes and gave me all the time I needed to set up. We love Best Western properties but upon arrival we were disappointed to find there is no elevator. Had we known we would have requested a first floor room. . We were, however, offered assistance to get our bags to our room. Convenient location right off the highway. Property was adjacent to the over 55 community we were there to tour. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked if they would make suggestions for dinner. The pool was well maintained and inviting. It made me smile to see families enjoying themselves in the water. All in all it was a good stay.

Positive: The fact that my hotel room was a suite. I was not aware that this Best Western had made the brilliant decision of turning all of their rooms into suites. It gives everyone a whole lot more room and privacy. Bravo! Negative: ""

It's an ok stay on the low end of OK. 1. Toilet kept clogging, had to get plunger from office, which isn,t open till 6:30 2. caught fungus from carpet. 3. bedding smell like saliva (like it was from the last guest. 4. rag, towel etc. holders not secure. 5. No smoking on property, but yet some trash bin has a cigarette traw on-top. 6. Main lobby is closed nighttime, no coffee, nothing is available from lobby. I wasn't going to say anything but after being charged $150. smoking (which I honestly DIDN'T).
