TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Westchase

It's not a bad hotel, but we are not confident about coming back. The breakfast options are limited but for the price it's just fine. 3 stars because of the: Poor cleanliness, no WiFi and just 1 elevator working. The personnel working at this Hotel was very kind and supportive during our stay, huge thank you to them!

I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel and have chosen it many times because the service has consistently been excellent. However, during my stay last weekend, I witnessed a situation that deeply disappointed me and does not reflect the standards I associate with this property.||While I was in the breakfast area, I overheard an interaction between Marina, who is the Front Desk Supervisor, and a guest. I do not know this guest personally, but I clearly heard Marina tell him that he “needed to speak English because he is in the United States.” The way this was communicated was not professional or respectful, and it was delivered with clear disdain rather than any intention to be helpful.||I felt genuinely sorry for the gentleman. It was evident that he felt uncomfortable and embarrassed

Bed and linens were clean and OK to sleep in but the place overall is not well maintained. None of the exercise equipment (two treadmills and one elliptical) works in the fitness center. Free weights from the rack are missing. The color on the TV in the breakfast area is broken. Bathroom tub is stained. It’s pretty clear here the owners are not concerned about upkeep or renovation and are just running the place into the ground.

Positive: Location & cleanliness Negative: The television size plus they need to upgrade if possible . The Tv was very small in size

The hotel is clean and conveniently located close to the city center, with many great restaurants and places nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming. However, I was a bit disappointed that toothbrush and toothpaste were not already provided in the room and I had to ask for them. This is a basic amenity that could have been handled better. Overall, it was not bad.
