TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dodge City

We had a great experience at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dodge City! We were at the casino when a hostess came up to us while we were playing and offered us a complimentary night stay — we happily said yes, and we’re so glad we did. The room was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back!

The hotel is average at best. The staff was mostly friendly but distracted due to personal acquaintances at the desk and outside with employees. Rooms are average size and a bit small compared to other Marriott properties. I cleaned the tub drain so it would drain properly prior to a shower. It was great that they served breakfast in the morning. It would’ve been great if they had served bacon, sausage, or ham with the eggs. It wasn’t the quality that one is use to seeing at a Marriott property.

Stayed here for 1 night with my family on a road-trip out to New Mexico the weekend following Christmas. The hotel was mostly quiet/empty as I feel they cater to a lot more business travelers extended stay type guests. The hotel is on the highway at the far west edge of town but still close enough to most of the restaurants and tourist attractions. ||We had a two bedroom suite and really enjoyed all of the extra space for our family of 4 - could have easily slept 6 people in the rooms plus sleeper sofa. ||Breakfast was more than adequate (albeit small space and limited tables for guests to eat) and the front desk staff was friendly/helpful. My wife received a little thank you bonus points letter (holiday gift) for her Bonvoy membership as well.

Drive into garden city if you are staying around this area. This location is kind of dirty. Rooms needing many facility repairs from the dishwasher plate needing screws, the fridge was nice and large though the stove top was missing a burner switch. The air conditioning worked well but garden city had larger rooms with better configuration. Dodge city location needs spruced up, different owner shows. Parking lot not great for all the oversized trucks. Staff had personal junk around counter. No lockers for them or no care? I like that the windows open HOWEVER the smell from the processing plant would not want you to open them. Price a couple dollars more here for what not the smell or cleanliness. bathroom needed re cocked

I had an issue with my original room and they so graciously moved me to another room that is actually an upgrade. They have gone above and beyond and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for lodging in Dodge City, KS. Exceptional staff. Super clean and quiet.
