Great location with all the necessities near by. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room shows its age and needs a maintenance guy to go around and fix things like cupbord doors and rust marks in the bathtub. Heater works well and rooms have a great setup condusive of getting work done

It was a great stay. The GM Tomas was very nice and helpful. The front desk personnel, Illiana and Chris, we very nice and attentive with the best smiles. Room was clean and cozy.

Life on the road means lots of hotel stays I’m easily spending over 150 nights a year away from home. You start to notice the difference between “just another stop” and a place that truly makes you feel welcome. This week, I hit the jackpot. The team here went above and beyond — friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. My room? Spacious, spotless, and super comfortable. If your travels ever bring you through Urbandale, do yourself a favor and check this spot out. It’s one of those rare hotels that makes you forget you’re living out of a suitcase.

Positive: The hotel was clean Negative: There was a high school marching band staying there that was running the halls most of the night and staying in the room adjacent. They were loud and obnoxious until at least 4 am. We attempted to call the front desk with no response multiple times.

The hotel itself is not very impressive ,outdated décor, a bit dingy, and my room curtains even had holes in them. Breakfast was below average and nothing to look forward to. What truly made this stay stand out, however, was the service. Katie at the front desk was an absolute gem. She welcomed me with kindness every time, going above and beyond with a smile and a laugh. When you travel three weeks out of the month for work, having someone like Katie greet you feels less like checking into a hotel and more like returning to a friend. Another moment that left a lasting impression was with Thomas at the front desk. After I had checked out, I made a quick phone call and he came across a little short and rude.
