TownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbus Easton Area

I booked a studio king bed and checked in via email prior to my arrival. I was given a standard 2 queen beds instead. I noticed straight away once I entered the room. It was after 10pm and I was exhausted from my travels to address the issue. This was my first poor experience with Towneplace Suites and also, my first and last stay at this location.

Recently stayed here for over a week, the first couple of days went well until the hotel started having hot water issues. Called the technician to come and try to fix it but when he came, he said the water temperature was normal which it definitely wasn’t. He told us to run the bathroom sink and the shower at the same time for it to heat up, but it did not. Took over 30 minutes with both running to even get a warm temperature, not hot. Also, cleaning service sucked. Multiple times we were told we would get full service, just to have the bed made. In my opinion, this was definitely not worth the price. We will be staying somewhere else next time. Only thing great was the location and the room was a decent size.

Positive: The king room with sofa included a full size fridge in the kitchenette. TV channels were plentiful. Tech friendly charging available. Breakfast was great. Negative: No yogurt at breakfast.

We had a good experience staying with TownePlace Suites! The room was a little smaller than we expected, but it made up for it with comfort and cleanliness. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful as well. The pool was wonderful, as was the fire pit outside. It was a plus being so near so much excellent shopping!! We really loved that! Our only complaint was that it was a bit noisy- mostly general hallway noise like walking/running, voices, doors opening/closing. Oh, our room was way too hot at 76 degrees when we got there too- it was difficult to get it cooled back down and we eventually had to turn to air conditioning on in December. Overall though, it was a great experience!

This is a hotel that was chosen for our family reunion weekend. We had booked at least 10rooms during our stay for family members. During the day there was numerous issues one being no hot water another issue was blood being on a mattress in one of the rooms. Also someone throw up in the pool area and them taking quite a long time to even come clean it up which prevented the kids being able to utilize the pool which is one of the best parts of being on vacation at a hotel with your children. Definitely will not be returning and the only reason the other family members didn't leave a review was due to their entire stay being compensated!
