The Blackwell Inn & Pfahl Conference Center

Very clean, conveniently located, and the in room coffee is Keurig K-cup style. That's all I need! I have stayed at this hotel several times as they offer discounted rates for families of The James patients (if you ask). In-room televisions are large updated flat screens. Beds are extremely comfortable. Valet parking is around $35 per night...But that is comparable to overnight charges at the nearby parking garage and worth the convenience. The only thing I would improve upon is the showers. The water pressure is good, but a walk in type would allow more space and appear more modern. Overall a great hotel!! Book it!!!

I stayed at the Blackwell Inn during the level 3 snow emergency that we had in Columbus after my shift at OSU. They provided medical center staff with an emergency rate that also included valet. It was such a welcome gesture after being out in the snow. The staff were really kind and everything about the hotel was really nice; the rooms, the lobby, everything. I had a nice view of the stadium from my room. They offer room service and everything you would need. I would definitely return.

I had a fantastic stay at The Blackwell Inn in Columbus, OH. The hotel is elegant, quiet, and extremely well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax or focus on work. The staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from check-in to check-out.||||The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail. The location is excellent—right on the Ohio State University campus—yet it still feels peaceful and upscale. Dining at the hotel was also a great experience, with high-quality food and excellent service.||||Overall, The Blackwell Inn delivers a refined, comfortable experience with outstanding hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Columbus.

This hotel and its staff are beyond excellent the five star rating does not provide enough representation. The attention to detail they provide in our stay to celebrate a previous wedding we held here was amazing. Our night was perfect, the hotel room was just as we remembered it, and the small extra details the staff provided for us were thoughtful and so kind. We love the Blackwell and would suggest them to anyone coming to stay for an OSU game, a wedding, or just want an executive level hotel stay.

Location was right on campus. Perfect location close to Ohio Stadium. Easy walking access. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was disappointing as you either had to pay $35 valet (included in/out privileges) or park in campus parking deck next door and pay every time you exited garage. Hotel staff was pleasant and friendly. Overall hotel was clean. Would definitely stay again.
