TownePlace Suites by Marriott Carlsbad

I visited this place in Dec 2025 for 3 nights and really liked it. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very close to Dunkin , Burger King and few other joints. Has a good amount of parking space. Good breakfast. Rated 4 for service as it can use some improvements: - elevator is too slow as guests and cleaning staff use the same elevator. Could use some improvements - Breakfast is good, but could use for shuffling to avoid eating the exact same thing every day especially in case for long stays.

Fairly new TownePlace Suites. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offering was great and breakfast attendant was friendly and constantly keeping items stocked. Some website pictures indicate a hot tub, but there is no hot tub. Pool area was nice and towels provided, but water was still too cool for our liking, even in late June.

We were very exaused from our adventures in the caverns. When we arrived it was pouring rain. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They got us checked in quickly and politely. When we got to our room it was nice and clean and not humid. We were able to enjoy the quiet and get some rest. Later in the evening we were able to enjoy the out door pool. Which was sparkling clean. Wish they had a spa to pamper those sore muscle from our hike earlier. But the pool was fun. In the morning we had a wonderful selection for our breakfast. A variety of hot and cold breakfast items.again the dinning area and food area was very clean and neatly seat up to accommodate guest. Overall it was a wonderful stay for waht we paid and we will definitely be staying at TownePlace again and recommend to all our

If you have to stay in carlsbad, this is the best hotel in town. Spent 2 nights, staff were absolutely awsome and set a great tone for the stay. Room was recently renovated. They could use another coffee machine or carafe for the morning breakfast as they were constantly out of coffee, we just used the free coffee and maker that was provided in our room. Walkable to multiple restaurants and the disc golf course next door.

Broken elevator? Seriously? Breakfast was not worth it. Room was good and clean. Two lousy towells. Bed was decent.
