Old Cavern RV Park

The location is perfect for a stay in Carlsbad. Not too close to the city and not too far from restaurants. We called last minute and were accommodated in the new section and had full hookups. There's a great bark park for dogs with nice sod grass and a free laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers which all work perfectly, as well as being heated/cooled. Cell service was great, just not inside the laundry room as it has a metal roof. Plans are already in the works for internet service in the newest section. The front older section is being turned up today. We were very happy with our stay and would certainly come back. This is a great location just 10 minutes south of town and 30 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns. We stayed 2 nights with 2 dogs. We loved having the dog park to play in. The free laundry was a bonus! The sites were level and clean. This was a perfect waypoint on our cross country journey.

The RV park is very secure. I’ve had no issues at all. It is very clean. The neighbors are respectful of one another and quiet at night. My favorite perk is the laundry room for users of the RV park. It is convenient and a huge savings. It is always clean and in good repair. Wes, who owns the park, goes out of his way to be helpful with everything. Regardless of the time of day, he always responds quickly to any requests.

Old Cavern RV Park Wes was a super great host. Very pleasant & nice and attentive to your questions and needs. Has free laundry service. You don’t see that very often. They were just adding on more sites so it was a little busy….lol but the great host made it all worth while. Close to Carlsbad and reasonable drive to both national parks.

We stayed for two weeks, the owner was very nice. Lead us to our lot, helped us pull in. A few of the perks we liked was being able to set up our dog fence and free laundry. The park was very clean, no trash, no dog poo laying around. The park is located out of town, easy to get to and no raod noise. Thanks for the great stay.
