TownePlace Suites by Marriott Boston Logan Airport/Chelsea

We had a delayed flight and got this hotel for free. It was pretty good! We only had a few hours in the room, but they were big, seemed to have coffee and kitchen, bathroom was great, beds were comfy, TV worked. I personally don’t mind sound of the highway but I know some people are sensitive. You might need earplugs. It was mostly empty and there’s not much to do around (I needed some things from a convenience store and just decided I’ll get it at the airport or dashmart it later). The shuttle service is great, unlike Ubers they drop you exactly at your terminal. If you’re into aviation, you can watch landings I think. I tracked a few, it was fun. Can’t rate it on the price since Delta gave us this one.

We booked the one bedroom suite because we needed two separate sleeping spaces. These are the loudest rooms in the hotel and are not nearly as spacious as the photos would indicate. Trucks, loud cars, music all night. Our kids barely slept - to the point we would have been better off in a smaller room in any case. We tried to reach the front desk twice and they are so thinly staffed no one answers the phone. The closets have organizes installed such that you can’t really hang anything up. I knew that the location would not be very charming as it’s an airport hotel, but I did expect a comfortable night sleep in exchange for a hotel in the middle of an industrial park. That was not the case. Do not recommend this hotel for traveling families.

Hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was nice, extremely helpful, and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable, room was gorgeous with a nice amount of space. The couch was also very comfortable inside the room. The full kitchen is very convenient and something I look for in hotels. I would absolutely stay here again! Very close to the airport and not far from good food choices. Quiet area.

I fly into Boston a couple of times a year and when I can't get a flight out in the evening, I have always chosen to stay here at TownePlace Suites-Chelsea. The rooms are great, it's close to the airport, they have an airport shuttle service, and their staff is outstanding. On this trip, it wasn't until I was literally sitting on the plane did I discover that I had left my single hearing aid on the nightstand. "Oh brother... there goes $3K" I thought. I called the front desk and spoke to Stephano who not only went to the room himself to retrieve it, but showed true empathy. After hours of waiting for our lost bags at Logan Airport, arriving close to midnight, the staff at TownePlace made an incredibly stressful situation so much easier. A special thank you to D and Jose, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were traveling with a 6-month-old baby, and their flexibility, kindness, and understanding truly meant everything to us. They made us feel welcomed, supported, and cared for after a very long day.
