Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Boston Logan Airport/Chelsea

I booked the stay with the understanding that there was a restaurant and bar ON SITE. However when we arrived we were greeted by a large empty area within the hotel that was meant for the bar and it was really uninviting. The pool was in need of a cleaning. It was open, however I was disappointed in the fact that it had so much hair and dust bunny type stuff in it. The water was also pretty cold for an indoor pool. My husband & I were looking forward to the pool and were rather disappointed by it and only ended up putting our feet in. The room itself was very clean. The beds were nicely made and we especially enjoyed the black out shades. The bathroom was clean as well. My husband and I definitely enjoyed the glass shower door. However, it was in need of an updated seal around the bottom

Nice clean hotel within 2 miles of the airport however, thanks to Boston traffic it will still take you 15 to 20 minutes. There was not a lot of parking, but we had no difficulty finding a spot. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.|The breakfast could definitely use some improvement. All the food is crammed in one small little room and it was very busy. I would return.

Positive: The decor throughout was impressive. made to impress business travelers. The consistent cleanliness throughout. And the prompt response to make repairs to the auto blinds control in our room. And the proximity to Logan Aiirport Negative: The $30 per day parking fee! And the torn and broken automatic blinds in our room...both were damaged and did not work when we arrived. And the noise from the truckss aand traffic during rush hour directly behind our room.

Stayed here for 4 nights and while it wasn’t the worst hotel, it wasn’t the best. Pros: Room and hotels were nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent (for a continental) and changed everyday. Location is right next to the Chelsea station, giving quick access to downtown and Salem. Cons: Bed was hard as a rock. The rooms are only cleaned every other day, starting on your 3rd day. So we only got our room cleaned once in 5 days of use. We even asked if they can clean since we threw our towels on the ground and had no extra, but it never happened. We were given 2 total coffee pods for our room, for the entire stay. The hotel bar/ restaurant was closed at night because the only employee quit and they couldn’t staff it.

This was a great choice for accommodations near the airport and near downtown Boston. Both are just a short Lyft ride. We were checked in by Gabriella at the front desk and she was great! She gave us an early check in & a nice clean room. Breakfast was good & the laundry facilities was a plus. We were also allowed a late check out by Lakeysha (manager) it was her first day and she was very patient and professional, she allowed us to wait in the lobby until it was time for us to fly to our next destination. Thank you to all front desk staff for a great start of our vacation.
