TownePlace Suites by Marriott Boca Raton

This very respectable hotel does what it has to do. It doesn't pretend to be the Hotel Ritz. But for a business traveler or a family on holiday with a budget it is highly satisfactory. My small room had everything I needed and was spacious as well as immaculate. Breakfast was generous "all you can eat" buffet that varied slightly each day and didn't lack the basics. It offered something for those of us who love our eggs and offered oatmeal, pastries, breads and bagels and things like sausages in addition to cereals and just about every juice, milk, coffee and tea,. The breakfast area was well occupied but everyone had a table for themselves. Very spacious. The rooms also had good WiFi and every member of the reception desk team with whom I had interaction was kind, courteous and pleased

For over 30 years I have been a loyal Marriot Customet and I have never had such bad customer service.|1. The walls are so thin you hear everything . At 4am for 20 minutes I heard ice crushing and blending as they allow for people to use blenders from the front desk.|2. The 1990s foyer and hallway tile and plaster stipple walls were not up to Marriot standards. The wallarr was shocking with wood on 4 by 4 planks and bottle cap circles stamped onto them and the cheap handmade flowers painted is what you may find at a cheap highway motel. |3. Across from my bed was a couch and the TV was to the left of my bed. There was no moving it. You could tilt it a little. You couldn't watch it directly from the coach either!|4. Positive: The staff was nice And I got a great price Negative: Unfortunately , the hotel was very creepy and the smell mold..only one elevator was working and You had to walk to the other hotel to get breakfast.Didn't make sense.

Good Day, I wanted to get this review out before I checked out. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars across the board is because of my check in experience. The associate(male) that worked that morning seemed to be having a rough day. He was passive aggressive in his actions and words. Example, "I can't kick customers out to accommodate your stay". What makes that passive aggressive, I didn't even suggest that or mention to do that to someone. Now, the good. Nancy, is an absolute delight. Just a pleasant and genuine caring person. Asking Just how are you doing for no other reason than just to ask , not as part of her job but genuine. The other is Zhanna, I watched her walk around and great people at breakfast before she went to the front desk. Again, just genuine greetings to folks.

Not terrible…but not great either. Rooms just ordinary budget motel style. Free breakfast means walking outside to another hotel to get their breakfast…one of two elevators broken for both days of stay…leaking pipe in stairwell…2 bedroom suite has only one bathroom…just disappointing. Reminds me of budget hotel… but at quite ridiculous premium price! Lots of much fancier and more upscale properties nearby, at lower prices.
