Customer Reviews
Positive: have breakfast, large bed, kitchen. Negative: When I first moved in, I was very happy that the studio has kitchen, large bed and very clean. However, it is very noisy place. I was barely able to sleep at night because the front desk staff does not care about your sleep if your neighbour disturb you.
This regret to have to say this location is by far the worst experience I have had as a Marriott guest. I made reservations for my suite and recommended extended family to book their rooms here as well. My family and I traveled far for our father's funeral. We were physically tired and emotionally exhausted. Upon arrival, I found my room dirty, the refrigerator was leaking all over the floor, no shower curtain, empty body wash bottle, an inoperable telephone, a hole in the bedroom curtain, and nowhere to place our clothing. We had to ask repeatedly for towels and washcloths, and endured loud partying guests in the parking lot. Our family 's rooms were about the same. This location is neglected, outdated, unsafe feeling, and definitely not Mariott quality. We are grateful for Charles . He
The hotel is a little dated but overall was a good experience. The front desk person was pleasant upon arrival. Our room was comfortable especially the mattresses. The sofa was a little worn but not too bad. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. The black out curtains were fabulous. We went to the indoor pool but the water was so cold we couldn’t get in. The breakfast left a little to be desired. The bananas didn’t look fresh and the selection of other items was sparse. However to coffee was fresh and hot. We will stay again if we are ever in Baton Rouge or at another location.
Decent enough spot - element might be worth the slightly higher price a night. Staff is helpful. Things like needing to ask a couple times for items to be addressed but most of the time handled right there and then. All linens are very clean - the general room fabrics (curtains) and things like ironing board cover are not the cleanest.
I visited Baton Rouge for thanksgiving with my baby and my bf! A few unforeseen things happened, and believe me we were not in a good space! when I check into the Marriott all that changed! Danyell Joubert step right into action! Assessed my issues and came up with a solution that made my trip a lot less hectic! She was amazing she really showed compassion, and empathy she is a great example for how all Marriott employees should be! She is truly an asset to your company @marriott. Thank you so much danyell for your professionalism and your service!
