Great location downtown you can walk to several places. They also have a shuttle. The rooms are nicely appointed but very small. We lucked up on the Mardi Gras parade which was on the street in front of the hotel so you could head down to the street level or stay in your room and observe. I also loved the proximity to the river. There was a small convenience area where I purchased water and a full restaurant which I did not get a chance to visit. The hotel was pretty quiet. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice and attentive.
Staff were very friendly. Rewards Club recognition received. Snacks and drinks available, in addition to an on-site restaurant. After check-in, received a text from "Samuel," inquiring if everything was OK with the room. First time ever that had happened at a hotel and very impressive and appreciated! The decor was unique and tied in together nicely. Beds were very comfy. Several ports available where electronics could be charged. Book lights made into the headboards (1 on each side). Interesting pictures on the wall behind the beds, even had backdrop lighting on the backside of the beds which could double as nightlights if you wanted to leave them on. The retro mini fridge was adorable and the keurig coffee maker appeared to be either new or super, super clean. We had a city vi
Decent stay overall. Good location. Rooms nicely decorated. You can tell they’ve been renovated. As other reviewers mentioned, the rooms are very small … the queen sized bed took up most of the space… but you sort of expect that with a boutique-ish hotel. Bathroom had a nice shower stall and water pressure was great. Fitness center was adequate; cardio and a few free weights. Valet parking was $33 with in and out privileges.
We stayed at Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown by IHG during our visit to Baton Rouge and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel sits in the heart of downtown and delivers a nice balance of modern comfort with touches that reflect the character of historic Baton Rouge. Our room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like a coffee maker and free Wi-Fi, making it easy to relax after a full day of exploring. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which added to the relaxed and easygoing feel of the place. The location is excellent — a short walk from the Mississippi River and close to many sights and restaurants downtown. There’s also an on-site restaurant and bar if you feel like grabbing a drink or meal without going far. A solid choice if you want a cen
Stayed here for two nights earlier this week. As an IHG Diamond Elite member, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have had in a long time, and I stay in IHG hotels at least 50 nights per year. First, none of the Diamond Elite benefits were offered at check-in. I was not provided with breakfast or any welcome amenity. The front desk simply checked me in without mentioning any elite benefits at all. The next morning I had to go back to the front desk myself to ask, and only then did they give me a breakfast voucher. Even worse, when I checked out, I asked for the folio and noticed that the restaurant had charged me for the breakfast that was supposed to be included. I had to go back and speak with the restaurant staff to get the charge removed. If I had not reviewed th
