TownePlace Suites by Marriott Aberdeen

I go here often for work. There was a blizzard and the crew that plowed the parking lot basically skipped where my car was. When I asked for help because I was totally stuck in the snow the management basically said "give her the shovel" -no attempt to call the snow removal service -nothing. I tried and was unable to get my car out. Thankfully another guest and the sweet woman at the front desk came and all three of us shoveled with the one shovel and then had to push the car out. I fell down in the process! Thank goodness for them. The 3 stars for service is only because of the one front desk lady otherwise I would give zero stars!

Sink drain in bathroom was incredibly slow. The shower head squealed the entire time it was running. Staff good. Breakfast left something to be desired

This place has rapidly deteriorated into motel status. This property is not worthy of the Marriott name. But this seems to be the norm at most Marriott properties these days. I am a Platinum Member of Bonvoy Marriott and travel quite a bit. I've been loyal to Marriott, but the more I travel, the more I'm noticing the deteriorating service level, cleanliness, maintenance, and just overall experience at all Marriott properties. From 5 star properties to 2 star properties, they all have issues. Please see the images and ask yourself if this is in any way acceptable. All of the images were taken upon entering the room. In addition, the heat was malfunctioning, and my stay was during polar vortex temperatures. The staff had no solutions. They all seemed lost. They moved me to a differen

The hotel was nice and quite. It would have been nice to have a different type of breakfast at least 2 to 3 times a week. Also the housekeeping staff should clean the shower floor at least once a week when the guest is there for an extended stay. I asked for it to be clean & they never did so after about a week of asking I purchased my own cleaning supplies to clean the shower floor. The only way my floor was vacuumed was for me to sprinkle carpet fresh on the carpet. Overall the stay was nice & I would definitely stay again.

Long term stay. Breakfast is always great. Staff friendly. Hope hot tub is fixed soon!
