Wow, this is the most beautiful Florida State Park I have ever been at. Beautiful beach with snow white sand. The park is nestled in beautiful pine trees and palmetto. The suites are private and large enough for a 43 foot toyhauler. If you walk your dogs in the woods, stay on the trails and make sure to check them for ticks. Definitely a park to visit. We will be back for sure.
I myself prefer campgrounds with tree co erase so we feel one with nature and like we are in a drive in movie lot. This campground has great tree coverage without and well maintained. Location is spectacular providing easy access to the bike trail which goes through several adorable beach communities. Lots of fun restaurants and retail shops and just all around great scenery.
We absolutely love coming to Topsail State Park! We only live about 40 minutes away but its always a good time and good excuse to play tourist! We love bringing out golf cart and cruising to 30A and of course walking our three doggies. We also love walking to the beach park here. Such a nice getaway!! Highly recommend if your looking for a nice clean park! Also everyone has always been so very friendly here!
Beautiful park with plenty of hiking and biking. Beach is pristine. Good cell service, cute little town. Camp sites are fairly close together with level pads. Full hook ups. No fire rings at RV sites. Pool, lakes, shuffle board, and laundry facility on site.
We’ve stayed here twice—once in a camper and then last week in a tent. Both are good, but the tent sites are exceptional: fine gravel pads, clothes lines for towels and such, beautiful natural feel, and close proximity to restrooms and showers. The beach, too, is great. Especially for kids, kayaks, and paddle boards. If you are into shelling you’ll want to visit some other beaches further to the east as SoWal beaches have next to no shells. While there we saw bald eagles, a gator, pods of dolphins, and a couple small sharks. The beach itself is pristine and separate from the glut of development that comprises much of 30A. .
